The OrderOut printer is a Star Micronics mC-Print3 ethernet kitchen printer that requires 1-Ply 3 inch thermal printer paper. 

1. How do I set up the OrderOut printer?

Included in the printer package is a step by step guide on how to successfully set up the OrderOut printer. Please refer to this guide. To set up the printer you will need to plug it into an ethernet port and power port. When the printer is successfully setup, a green and blue light will appear on the front of the printer. The green light represents that the power is connected. The blue light represents that the ethernet (internet) is connected.

Once the printer is successfully connected and both the green and blue lights are displayed, a ticket will print with a pairing code and instructions. Please follow the instructions on the printed ticket and send the pairing code to OrderOut.

2. What does the OrderOut kitchen printer do exactly?

All your connected delivery service orders will automatically print to the OrderOut kitchen printer. On the printed ticket it will display the delivery service at the top (UberEats, Grubhub, etc.), the customer's name, the order number and then all of the ordered items including modifiers.

3. There is a red light on the printer. What does this mean?

If there is ever a red light displayed on the front of the printer, that means the printer is out of paper. Open the printer and put in a new roll of paper.

4. Tickets are not printing! What do we do?

If the printer isn't printing anything on the actual tickets, you must first double check that the paper you've inserted into the printer is 1-Ply 3 inch thermal printer paper.
